Who are we?

World Team is a global mission fellowship whose purpose is to glorify God by working together to establish reproducing churches focusing on the unreached peoples of the world.

Where do we serve?

Papua, once called Irian Jaya, is the eastern-most part of Indonesia, comprising the left half of the island of New Guinea.  One of the world's last frontiers, its rugged terrain is covered with jungle and as recently as two generations ago many Papuans had never had contact with the outside world.  Today, rapid changes and development are sweeping over the land, bringing many new social issues.

 

World Team Papua has a passion to work together with the national church to take the Good News to every tongue and tribe within Papua, and to strengthen and equip the national church in Papua to even reach beyond their own borders.
